A day with the Bri Bri

Today we went to Yorkin, a Bri Bri community.  The Bri Bri are one of several indigenous tribes in Costa Rica. Today we got to explore the community and learn about how the Bri Bri live in the rainforest and produce cacao, bananas and other products.

One of the highlights of the day was making organic chocolate. We separated the skins from the seeds and then ground them up to make a cacao paste.  Then sweetened condensed  milk was added.  This made the best chocolate I’ve ever tasted.  I’m sold on Yorkin Chocolate!  Now, how do I get find it at home?

  1. Forrest is thinking how to get it home for you. Just a little interested in that idea.
